To ensure this effort of diversity, Coast Radio Company has established the Coast Radio Company Promotion/Programming Assistant Intern Program. This program is designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment. The Promotion/Programming Assistant Intern works on a part-time, paid basis and receives practical experience in the general operation of the radio station's Promotions and Programming Departments. As part of the Promotion/Programming Assistant Intern's responsibilities they are required to interface with other departments of the radio station giving them an overall perspective of other opportunities in radio. The Promotion/Programming Assistant Intern may also be a student in high school or college and may be able to utilize the work experience for academic credits in journalism and broadcasting. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must be out-going, highly energetic, detail-oriented, innovative with strong communication skills (verbal and written), and possess a desire to learn about the radio. The ideal candidate should possess a valid California driver's license and be available weekends and evenings. HOW TO APPLY Send a cover letter and resume.
